UNLEASH YOUR POTENTIAL
Dubbo Netball Association is committed to our Representative Pathways Program (DNA RPP) because it provides opportunities for our Dubbo netball community to develop their skills and abilities as players, coaches, umpires and officials. The program contributes to improving the standard of netball played within the Association and creates a passion for netball in the many participants involved. Because of this, the RPP contributes to the ongoing viability and success of the Dubbo Netball Association now and for the future.
The DNA RPP offers participants a structured and progressive route for advancing their skills as players, coaches, umpires and officials in a fun and supportive environment. By participating in the program, participants benefit from access to higher levels of coaching and mentoring, which consolidates the basics for our junior players, and includes training techniques and strategies that are designed to elevate performance. It is focused on building individual skills but also enhancing the understanding of game tactics, leading to improved overall play and preparation for more competitive environments.
The DNA RPP provides valuable exposure and experience through involvement in other top-level competition throughout the season. This exposure is crucial for developing resilience and adaptability, as participants face varied game situations that challenge their abilities as players coaches and umpires. Competing in these environments helps participants build confidence and composure, essential traits for success at higher levels of the sport.
By being part of a representative program, participants learn the importance of teamwork, discipline, and commitment, which are transferable skills valuable both on and off the court. DNA promotes the importance of community and ensures everyone is responsible for giving back and contributing to the wider DNA netball community throughout the season. The DNA RPP prepares participants not only for competitive play but also for roles as future coaches, mentors, umpires and administrators themselves. This holistic approach ensures that DNA has ongoing access to the right skill-base for years to come, ensuring the future viability of netball in Dubbo.
